The Gusto Group’s latest project will be opening in the Ouseburn Valley area in late 2007 early 2008.

The new restaurant and bar will be called Don Vitos, which most people in Newcastle will remember as it was on Pilgrim Street for 25 years, it was the busiest Italian pizzeria and trattoria in Newcastle and it was there that the De Giorgi family’s interest began in sourcing local, fresh ingredients from both the North East and Southern Italy.

They plan to duplicate the style and ethos of the original Don Vitos to the new restaurant on the Ouseburn.
